In July of 2018 I began renovations on my home in High Point. I started with a large attic that was completely unfinished and there were pull down stairs in the garage to get up there. We figured out a way to add stairs where the laundry room was previously and move the laundry room to another part of the house. This will add 1000 square feet, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a small living room, a laundry closet, dining area and kitchen. It took me three years to find a contractor I was comfortable with. Many of the contractors I interviewed weren’t listening to me. They were telling me what they thought I should do instead of working with me on my budget and what I wanted to do. This should be complete by the end of October 2018. Sheetrock is going up on October 1st. I’ll keep you updated!
